According to the article, Sila Chy Thmor, 

the general director of CBM Corporation said 

“we know that Clients want new things-modern, 

high-class and imported things. 

Looking at other countries’ experiences, globally and regionally,

 after living conditions improve, international brands dominate the market.
 Sometimes, the foreign brands can kill the local ones.”

記事の中で、CBMの取締役Sila Chy Thmor氏は、「我々は、お客様がモ

ダンでハイクラスな輸入品のような新しいものを欲しているとわかってい

る。グローバルにそして地域的に、他の国の経験に見ても、生活環境が

改善された後、国際的なブランドが市場を支配している。時たま、外国ブ

ランドは、地元のものを殺すこともできる。」とあります。

Recently, there are a lot of foreign restaurants have opened in Phnom Penh, 

including those inside Aeon Mall.

プノンペンでは今イオンモールを始め、外資が多く参入しています。

On the other hand, there are many delicious local food here in Phnom Penh.

もちろんおいしいローカルフードも多くあります。

I hope both local and foreign restaurants could improve together 
and make Phnom Penh become a more attractive town!
